WD-40

Hello everyone....

Here are some useful and helpful tips to use WD-40.

WD-40
A refresher course--who knew?

'I had a neighbor who had bought a new pickup. I got up very early one Sunday morning and saw that someone had spray painted red all around the sides of this beige truck (for some unknown reason). I went over, woke him up, and told him the bad news. He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do. Probably nothing until Monday morning, since nothing was open. Another neighbor came out and told Him to get his WD-40 and clean it off. It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint job that was on the truck. I was impressed! WD-40-- who knew?' Water Displacement #40.
The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and de-greaser to protect missile parts.
WD-40 was created in 1953 by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company. Its name comes from the project that was to find water Displacement compound. They were successful with the fortieth formulation; thus WD-40. The Corvair Company bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts. Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you...'It is made from fish oil.' When you read the 'shower door' part, try it. It's the first thing that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic, it works just as well as glass. Then try it on your stove top. It is now shinier than it has ever been before.

Fun Fun !!

Hi everyone,
How was your weekend ? Do anything fun ? Go some place new ? See or do anything exciting ? Whatever you did with whomever you did it with. I hope it was a good one.

We had a good weekend. Much fun and now I am a bit tired. But well worth it. Sat my friend and co-worker came over, after the snow we had gotten the night before. We talked and watched movies and stamped all day long. I will post some cards I made on the bottom. I had forgotten to take pic's of the cute cards Lori made.

Sunday was family day. We went to my parents and delivered a huge book case that Jes had made for my Mom. Dad took all us kids out to lunch and we ran some errands. Then came back to catch up on things. All in all it was good !

Today it is like a mini-spring here for us. It is 40 and sunny and lovely !! Yippy !
Here are a few of the cards I did !

Have a good night everyone !

Did you know ????

Learn something everyday huh ?????
Who knew??

Was this something we were supposed to learn from our Mom's?????I can't believe it's been there all this time. I had to go into the kitchen and check this out for myself. Whoever looks at the end of your aluminum foil box? You know when you try to pull some foil out and the roll comes out of the box. Then you have to put the roll back in the box and start over. The darn roll always comes out at the wrong time.Well, I would like to share this with you. Yesterday I went to throw out an empty Reynolds foil box and for some reason I turned it, and looked at the end of the box. And written on the end it said, Press here to lock end. Right there on the end of the box is a tab to lock the roll in place. How long has this little locking tab been there? I then looked at a generic brand of aluminum foil and it had one, too. I then looked at a box of Saran wrap and it had one too! I can't count the number of times the Saran wrap roll has jumped out, when I was trying to cover something up.I'm sharing this with my friends. I hope I'm not the only person that didn't know about this. I know you're going to go and check your boxes, so go ahead!

Sun

Hey everyone... How is everyone doing this Monday ? Kids are off of school and some people are off work. Due to President's Day, lucky ducks.

Ahh the Sun... I think it is getting a bit closer..because the last few days you can actually feel a bit of warmth and it is great! Also I am LOVING the SUN is staying out a bit longer these days. We are gaining more day light. It is sooo nice. It is amazing how a bit of warmth and some sun light can make you feel better.

Did everyone have a super valentines day ? We did. I was gone most of it, with my family at Gary Spivey... Hubby had a free day to himself doing whatever he liked... which turned out to be taking down some Xmas items. Then we had the evening together just the two of us with dinner and a good movie at home. It was soo nice and relaxing just to be together. But Gary was great. We got some healing done and questions answered and he also gave us tips and info and instructions on how to mediate. All good things. I also got my book signed and so that was neat as well !

Sunday was a good day as well as we spent it withthe other side of the family and had some fun as well. I also got in alot of kisses on Parker. He is such a doll at 4 months.

Well I hope you all have a SUPER week !!!

LOVE
There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer;
No disease that enough love will not heal,
No door that enough love will not open,
No gulf that enough love will not bridge,
No wall that enough love will not throw down,
No sin that enough love will not redeem.
It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble,
How hopeless the out look,
How muddled the tingle,
how great the mistake.
A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all.
It only you could love enough,
you would be the happiest and most powerful being in the world.

Dateline - Angie Blog Update... hehehe

Hey everyone....

It is almost here... HEART day!

I gave out all my Valentines, cards in the mail. Just to a few ..parents..grandparents..( I just ran out of time this year)

Dropped off a gift. Gave my co-workers their cards. Now all is left.. is the gift for my Hubby ! Which he will love.....!

Valentines Day, I will be spending with my family...Gary.. and later Dinner with my Hubby and maybe babysitting Parker tooo! It will be a very busy day. I am making home made dinner for my Hubby for Valentines. We will relax at home with Parker and a movie.

So I am ready for hearts day.. what about you ????

Jes is hard at work..putting out the bids and hoping for work, as I am working my last few months and stocking up on misc house hold items and pinching pennies to save.

The weather here as been warm and we are loving that ! ( 30 Degrees's ) thats warm for Mn standards. Snow in the front yard is nearly gone. But a little cold coming this weekend. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh where is SPRING AND WHEN IS IT coming ?

Friends and co-workers are all going on vacation and we sure wish we could. Its been a long winter.

We continue to pray for Jes's mom as she starts her treatment in 2 weeks.

I want to take a moment to THANK all my friends and family for their constant love and support and emails and calls about my recent news of being laid off from work. It really means alot.

Its easy to say what you would do if it was you..but the feelings are a little different when it is actually you and the worry sets in.

It makes for a few sleepless nights when my little brain is thinking all the time. I wish I had an OFF switch for night time.

In the meantime... we are going to focus on all the positives we do have in our lives and we are thankful for how blessed we are in many other areas of our lives.

Thats all for tonight.

Thanks for stopping by.... drop me a line or leave a comment. I would love to hear from my readers, friends, family. We think of you often so let us know how you are doing. We really enjoy it.

This is great...

Hey Guys and Gals.. this is a long one..but soooo worth the time !!!

NEW PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION
This is probably the best e-mail I've seen in a long, long time. The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA.
This guy should run for President one day...

'We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of! NON-Rights.

'ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.ARTICLE II:You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of dummies, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III:You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV:You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V:You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI:You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you get the blue juice
ARTICLE VII:You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII:You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE IX:You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X:This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you came from, English is our language. Learn it!

LastlyARTICLE XI:
You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, sorry if you are uncomfortable with it.If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish. Sensible people of the United States must speak out because if you do not, who will?

Did you see and hear ?

Did you see and hear Obama last night on T.V. ?

The Hubby and I where watching in total agreement. We are hopeful of what he said and the new direction that he will be taking the United States. From here I hope we can only go up from here !

A new group

This is a new group to me and I have heard a few song on the radio by them. They have a nice sound ! Is anyone else familiar with some of their other songs ?

Well it is finally warm here in Mn. 40 at my house. But windy and foggy and raining. But hey.. it will wash away the grime on the streets and such. Maybe melt some snow as well.

I just got news my Mother In law will start her Kemo in 2 weeks and so we will pray for the best out come for her. She will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I was sick most of the weekend. So I am gonna run for now so I can get some chores done !

Have a good week all.

Update

Well, where did the week go? I guess it just got away from me.
I hope that you all had a good week. My week was not as busy as normal and for that I am glad. But we have a busy weekend. Family things going on and such.
I am sad that I will have to miss my friend Sarah's Baby Shower this weekend and all my work friends. But I sent a gift with another friend. So she knows I am still thinking of her. Have fun girls.
My new medicine that I take in shot form is not going as well as I would have liked. I have my Hubby doing it, but sometimes I forget to do it all together. I am sure I will get it all figured out soon. I also got the pen the medicine comes out of a bit messed up.
I still have to find the time to get some Valentine cards made so that I can get them sent out. I hope I am able to find some time to get that done. As well as some idea's for them as well. Sometimes I am very creative and other times not as much. I have to be 'in the mood' or it is just not there.
I am looking forward to seeing my Sister In Law and Parker this weekend as well. They are coming for a visit.
It is getting alot warmer now towards the end of the week. But Gosh I could really use a vacation to a warm get away. I could sit on a beach somewhere and relax and get a tan. But that is not in the budget this year. I guess I better get out the honeymoon pics from last year and remember back to those. Heheheheheh!
GOOOOOD NEWS GOOOOD NEWS...... I got my Wedding ring back. Yippppy, earlier then they had said. I got the call and was thrilled I could get it back. All new and sparkling and I was so glad to have it back. It was funny, but I actually missed it. Funny how it has become a part of me. I have to give credit to Jared the Galleria, they where nothing but wonderful about the whole thing. I was so glad.
Well that's all for now.
Have a good weekend all.
Remember each day is a gift and not a given right !

Happy GroundHogs Day !

Well it sounds like from this guy...we have another 6 weeks of winter. Big shocker, huh ! With the temps here I won't expect anything less. It was sooo nice Sat and now it was chilly and windy again. But the day or two of warm weather was great. No need to complain about that !!!

Have a good week all !

Sunday Family time and a Baby to LOVE!

Sunday, Jes and I had his family over, for my Mother in Law's Birthday. We had a get together. It was a nice day. Lunch & Birthday cake later.

We played games and watched a movie.

We also got to spend some time with Parker.
Look at this handsome lil guy ! This is our nephew . He is sooo cute and we just love him. Look at cute face!

Here I look a long pic cuz I wanted to get in his whole adorable outfit !
I just love how cute kids clothes are these days.
It was also the first time our Cat was around a child that young. Well needless to say... he was VERY interested in Parker. He was laying down next to him and tapping him on the head. So we had to watch him around the baby.

All in all it was a good day!
