On a ship we will go.......

Well this winter we will be aboard this very ship pictured below!
We will visit 4 great warm tropical places and I am thrilled ! I wish the vacation was sooner..but we have a few months yet to wait !

I will do my best to post more often. We have been sooo busy and time has gotten away from me... so I will try and do better !

Saying good bye

Saying goood bye makes me soooo sad ! Not only is my summer off come to an end. So is the warm weather and soooo many things that summer means to us. Boat rides and time at the cabin and fresh veggies and all my lovely flowers just to name a few things.
Although fall is here tomorrow and I love Halloween and crisp fresh air and pretty color mums. I will still miss summer !

I hope that you made some good memories this summer, like we did !

Fun with Family at the lake !!!

Fun at the lake ! Today we all spent the entire day at the lake. Here is my sister and brother in law and our nephew Parker at the lake. It was a warm 85 day in Sept and so we wanted to take advantage of the warm perfect day at the lake. So we did just that !

It was warm and sunny and a perfect day...the lake was great and there was a little breeze and a wonderful sky!!! What more could we ask for ????

I happened to be outside doing a NOT so fave thing...dead heading my flowers and trimming things down for fall and pulling weeds. I wanted to take a few pic;s of my flowers that are still blooming. I was taking a pic of this and there happen to be this huge cool butterfly !

Hello everyone... I hope you all had a great holiday weekend, and if you have little ones. I hope they all got off to school great. It is such a nice day out. I should be out in my garden..but I am inside doing some chores and unpacking and washing clothes from our long weekend. This last week or or sooo my mail box has been packed with all sorts of good things.

I got my fall lowes magazine ! With some great ideas inside.

I got my creating keep sake mag.

I also got the new holiday mini catalong from stamping up!

This last weekend I also got the new fall/winter Tastefull simple book !

Curb Appeal

Well a bit of an upgrade !

Each summer my Hubby and I add some Curb Appeal.

We like to do home improvements. We like to increase our value and look of our home. So we had a faded drive way before. My Hubby added a nice Black sealer to the drive way. It was a bit of work for him. You can see the lines still but we are told this will fade a bit and blend in. I love the outcome. It looks so nice. I like the fresh black color. It was worth a 1/2 days work.

This was a littler easier then some of our other projects. But much needed and it just gives a cleaner look to our home. Ahhh another summer project done. Yipppppy !

Can't wait to try something new !

Last week or so I got my latest food & family mag in the mail.

These are always such good mags and wonderful recipes. So I will have to check it out and see what yummy things I might be able to whip up !!!
