HO HO HO...sorry I have been away... UPDATE .. here you go

Hey Everyone….

Wellllllll… Christmas is almost here. Here in Mn we are expected to get up to 2 feet of snow for the Holiday. What a gift huh ? Not for us here. Sorta a pain. But I feel worse for my friends & family that are traveling via car this season to get to family. I wish you all safe travels.

Soooo I am sure you are all wondering where I have been. To be honest. I have sooo much to share and sooo much to blog about. I just haven’t had the time. Both weekend before Xmas we had family over. We max out the house and so we were enjoying family time and also letting others enjoy all of our Holiday cheer and décor both inside and outside our home. It really helps…put you in that Holiday mode and mood. We all love it.

Besides that it has been the usual Christmas buzzzzzzzzzz and things going on. Making treats and food for dinners and gifts and you know how it goes. Last minute items and all the prep that comes with this special time of year.

On top of that there seems to be a few rather large issues that have come up in life. Among that and holiday prep.. I have been having a hard time this month with my migraines and trying to get those nasty things to leave me alone. Maybe with less stress after the Holidays, there will be less headaches. At least that is my true hope.

So what have you all been up to ? Same as us ? getting ready ? How are things with you ? What is new ? What do you have to be thankful for ? What joy are you thankful for this year ???? Even with the stress and buz and long list of items to get done. There is still always things to be thankful.

Whatever life is or isn’t giving you right now. I wish all my friends and family and loved ones a Blessed Christmas. May all of our Angels give us what we need and remember to give thanks.

Merry Christmas all. XOXOXOX Hope Santa is good to you all ! Remember to “BELIEVE”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heartfelt

I just wanted to share these Symathy cards I made last month with you all. While at the local Archivers I used one of my friend Sandys sets and made this card. I never have any sympathy cards. So this is what I came up with. I will need to make some more sometimes !

A giggle for sure !

Quote of the day:

'Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.
If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.'

Yummmy treats !

Hey everyone.. Happy Holidays... Tis the season... the busy's have more then begun at our home this year ! This weekend I had added more Xmas decor from my many boxes and I have also been doing some baking and making treats....! We have an early Xmas with a part of the family next weekend and this week is booked so I need to get as much done as I can and boy am I getting tired. But fun at the same time and we have these yummy treats to show for it !! YIPPPY !

Below are some mini Brownies I made in a mini muffin pan, then I added a mint truffle kiss in the middle and ohhh how yummmy. God the idea from a co-worker who made them... I made a 100 of these guys !

Here is the start of my home made "Turtles' ! Boy alot of unwrapping of the candy...but the Hubby was a big help.
Here is the final outcome...yum yum yum yum.... they taste sooo good.
If anyone is interested in how to make them.. here is all you need.
1. A large bag of pecan's.
2. Rolo candy's. I used 3 bags which made me about 150.
3. Snyder's Square pretzels.
That's it.
Put the unwrapped rolos on the pretzels and place in the oven at 350 for about 3-4 mins, on the cookie sheet, take them out and mush the pecan on the top and let them cool until rolo is hard again. Which for me took a long time. Hours !
Tip : I used tin foil under mine for easier clean up ! I also used cookie sheets with side so when you move the pan they don't go flying off all over.
Have fun all. Happy Holidays and I will update more later !
