Update!

Well, well.. look how long it’s been ! WHOOOOA.. I am sorry to my readers.

How is your summer going ? Mine has been good..but a flurry of many, many, many events! Just when I thought I was almost done with the grad parties and weddings and weekend outta town…., friends here from outta town, sick family members, and more. We got yet another wedding invite! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh oh no!

Anyhow our summer so far has been fun..but busy, and my close friends now I am nearly dead tired from all of it. While exciting it is also sooo much work and sooo tiring.

This last weekend was a great 4 day weekend of stamping and scraping in a small town in Wisc with a bit of shopping thrown in there as well ! Fun ladies and always a great time.

Now this weekend is the 4th and fireworks………Yipppppppppppppppppppppy!!! I hope that all of you have a very Happy and Safe 4th of July.

I have also started my veggie garden this year again and thought it is a lot of work………….. I so love the fresh home grown veggies. There is just nothing better. My flower gardens, which go 100% around my entire house with the exception of the drive way, are sooo pretty and very thing is huge and in bloom and I love that. Just DON’T LOVE… picking all the dang weeds that grow up in the rocks. Let me tell you….its a full time job just doing that.

While I am glad to have a job this summer and not being laid off, I do miss … the nice warm days and doing what I want at home and visiting with my family more often.

I have ALOTS of cards to share with you after the Holiday weekend I will try and share some of those. Plus I have some new pic’s of my little cute nephews to share as well !

We have had a lot of RAIN here in Mn and so now that we have the sun for a few days I am loving it and spending time outside when I can.

News Flash

Hey Everyone… Well well well… I know I said I was gonna post..but time has just gotten away from me. I have been running my rear off most nights of the week and working full time and it has taken all of my energy !

So here a short update. Last week we have 3 birthdays and 2 grad parties and we went outta town for part of the weekend. WOWA….

This week I have been packing for going to the lake this weekend and next week I take my annual trip to Wisc, for my scrapping/stamping retreat. I can’t wait. But I have been sooo busy I haven’t even begun to start packing for that. Any of you that you done this before. You would know it takes great detail and planning. So planning food for 2 events as well as at home…takes a lot of work. On top of new planted flowers and a new planted garden to tend to as well as the normal household chores and items.

My mother has had major surgery and having some issues there as well. Please pray for her and keep her in your good thoughts. We need it for her.

We still have some home projects going on as well. We are still looking forward to getting our boat out and ready for summer as well.

I feel like I say I am soo busy to write all the time…but it is no lie. Some days I wish for a boring life with nothing to do! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the day.
I am hoping by mid-july things will settle down a bit for us and our calendar seem to have a few more free spots on it.

I also started selling Avon a few months ago so that is simply one more thing to add to the mix !

I am also trying to stay up on facebook and all my friends there as well.

Sooooooooooooo sorry I have not had time to post ! I will try my best this week to get a post and update out there. Just sooo busy I am having a hard time trying to find the time ! Summer is crazy busy for us !

Remodel.... Before and After !!!

Well as I mentioned, we have some bad..rotten windows we had to replace. Here you can see the look and the style of the windows we use to have. They were also crank out windows and I dislike them alot.
Here is more of a curb shot of part of the house !

Here is... the windows, Anderson... double hung...new siding, new paint and everything. However I am missing the grills on the windows. I did upgrade and get those as well so they would match my nice Anderson sliding glass door in my kitchen.

Again.. a bit of a curb shot. I just LOVE the new color and new look. We carried the color out around the house a bit to tie is all in together. So the front door has color and so does around the garage doors. We also have a cool decorative piece to add to the top of the peak on the main garage..but that is not yet complete. However you get the idea. The new look freshens up the house. Adds curb appeal as well as vaule to our home and street!

This was a huge project both inside and out and I am sooo very pleased with the results ! Dang the Hubby does good work !
