Saying Goodbye !

Ahhh this is a pic from the lake... just look at the clear water and sand. I love it... and so peaceful to glance down and look at. You could get lost in your thoughts at the lake when you look into it.

Here are a row of snails in there... harmless little things.. most just shells.

Its Labor day this weekend. September brings many things.... but it als means the summer is coming to its end and we have to wish it a farewell goodbye. Which I hate to say, but it is true..isn't it. It is already getting a little chilly here at night and while the crisp, cool air is great for sleeping and fresh to smell... It means summer is dying down. Ahhh how sad. The boat rides will soon end and fall chores will start... kids will be going back to school, and my garden will be coming to an end as well. At least I have good pictures to remind me what we did and how we lived and what we enjoyed ! I hope that you all had a good summer as well !

I love gladys and I got these last weekend at the farmers market.. ahhh how pretty. You just have to love their beauty and wonderful color. I know I sure do. The flowers lasted all week long. Such a deal for a mere $5.00.

Well this weekend my lil cousin and my sister will be joining us tomorrow to go to the State Fair and so we hope for a great day and alot of fun !

Allllllllllll done! This week I made all of these jars of home made salsa. It is alot of work and cutting and such.... but it is well worth it ! It is very easy to make. Took me the better part of the day..but YUM YUM... all natural, non toxic veggies, free of all that other junk that big growers put on there. Also part of the items used where from my garden and that in it self is also rewarding toooo !

Well the other day I was going to stamp and then I did these two cards and that was about all that happened! Things came up that I had to do instead.
So just a quick show and tell !

Well I feel bad for some people that are having garage sales and things of all this rain. But oh the other hand we really need it for the grass and tree's and flowers and for me... its nice to have a day inside and be relaxing and not feel quitly I am missing a wonderful day outside.

The woman yells out the window,

Man yells out window, BITCH!
Man rounds next curve.
Man crashes into a HUGE PIG in middle of road and dies.

TOLD YOU IT WAS SHORT!

Here they come !

So I cut all of these green beans from my garden, then blanched them all and put them in bags. Then took them to the freezer for later use. This year my garden will come in useful. I will be doing this with as much as I can. With me not working the extra, all natural, great tasting veggies will come in handy! The blanching part is rather easy ! But the cutting part...Wowa.. that sucks just a little bit ! I also picked more cherry tomatoes and 9 cucumbers. Those of course I shared. I also made 2 zucchini breads as well with the big zucchini my mother in law had given me from her garden. I also have a plan for home made salsa as well.Yum Yum. Oh I also got 2 more green peppers. Gosh I love this. Ahhh this week it is finally getting hot here and so that should really make things ripen up in the garden I hope !!!

Well off to job hunt online !

A deal on POP!!!

Well today I ran some errands this morning and one of them was a quick stop into Cub Foods ! I just wanted to give a heads up to all your pop drinkers out there! Pop has sure become expensive these days. Well anyone thru Sat their 2 - liter pop is .77 cents. Which is about 1/2 off since it is usually 1.59 these days !!

Fun with Friends & Family @ the Lake !!

Last weekend we had our family friends join us at the lake. They came all the way from ND. We had a good time on the lake. Enjoyed some great boat time. Look at this cute little guy and his Mom on his first ever boat ride !
