Hey there... well the weather is cooling down and soon Halloween will be here... we have the orange light bulbs on the house and the decorations are up with a few exceptions of items we only put out on actual Halloween.
Are you getting ready ???? Anyone in the mood and already snacking on their Halloween candy ??? It is sooo good and yummy ! It is not hard at all to take a nibble for sure. Well... this year at our home... there will be not candy handed out here. This year I got Halloween bags of pretzels. I figure the kids get enough candy. So usually I try and mix it up and do something a bit different. To be honest.. the kids seem to like it ! So it seems to be a win win !!! Ahhhh Halloween is soooo fun... can't wait for it to be here !

I saw this and it really said something to me and I wanted to share it with you all. I hope that everyone is having a good weekend. Hubby and I got sooo much stuff done yesterday..but today my body seems to be paying the price for it..including fighting a miagraine this morning which is no treat that is for sure. Oh the plus side of things I am sure I burned a bunch of calories working from 9am - to 6pm last night. But WOW there is just soooo much to do to get ready for winter ! I trimed down nearly 70 plants and shrubs yestersay and mowed the yard and helped the hubby clean the garage a bit and put all of my summer yard decor all packed away. YIKES.. today I have a few fall items to plant... and I am thinking I am crazy after all I cut down yesterday.

Well I guess today I am gonna be at it again today finishing some things I didnt get to yeseterday.

promised us 50's. Right now it is a chilly 28 with lots of cold wind!!!

A bit of Fall at our home.....

While I Love SUUUUMMMER and it is my favorite season... fall is fun to.. the crisp fair all the fun fall decor... and I always have my house decorated !

It has been cold and raining and I will be working on chores and halloween cards today......! I am waiting for some warm weather so I can finish my ghost project in the front yard... I will try and post that as well.

On a ship we will go.......

Well this winter we will be aboard this very ship pictured below!
We will visit 4 great warm tropical places and I am thrilled ! I wish the vacation was sooner..but we have a few months yet to wait !

I will do my best to post more often. We have been sooo busy and time has gotten away from me... so I will try and do better !

Saying good bye

Saying goood bye makes me soooo sad ! Not only is my summer off come to an end. So is the warm weather and soooo many things that summer means to us. Boat rides and time at the cabin and fresh veggies and all my lovely flowers just to name a few things.
Although fall is here tomorrow and I love Halloween and crisp fresh air and pretty color mums. I will still miss summer !
