6 am and Sunday morning
It is bright and sunny today ! Perfect for the day we have planned. Boating and tubing and sking.
Jes and I have been sooo busy and working sooo hard that we decided we are doing ONE fun thing. So we are taking the boat out.
But before that... many things must get done. So with my to do list in hand, one by one I am doing morning errands and tending to flowers that need to be planted and watered, a yard that needs to be waters, clothes that needs to be washed, and well you know all the normal house hold items. I haven't been sleeping well. Alot on my mind I guess, with little like at the end of the tunnel. Then I have been getting up early on the weekend mornings to get my chores done.
I just wanted to wish you all a Happy Sunday. We are going to reward ourselves with a fun day. I hope you find something fun to do as well.
Find some Fun in the Sun !!!!!!!!!!
Must run.

Oppps ... I forgot
This week, Mom and I went to Joann's. We had gone there looking for wedding flowers for centerpiece's. But we also both had Joann's gift cards from my sister Sara for our birthdays... so here is what I got. I also got something for outside as well. I'll have to post that later. I can't wait to use all the new fun items I have gotten over the past few weeks.
Thanks Sara !

Thoughts to Ponder
The difference between great people and everyone else is that great people create their lives actively, while everyone else is created by their lives, passively waiting to see where life takes them next. The difference between the two is the difference between living fully and just existing.
- Michael E. Gerber
THE MAYONNAISE JAR AND COFFEE
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the coffee.A professor stood before his Philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.Of course, the sand filled everything else.He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.1."The golf balls are the important things- your God, family, yourchildren, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions- things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. 2. "The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. 3. "The sand is everything else-the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.”
* "Play with your children(and or pets)!”
* "Take time to get medical checkups.”
* "Take your partner out to dinner.”
* "Play another 18.”
* "There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.”
* "Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter.”
* "Set your priorities.”
* "The rest is just sand." One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. "It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple cups of coffee with a friend."
Hope this gives you all a Laugh

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and enjoying the MUCH cooler and nicer weather.
I came home yesterday and turned the air off and opened all the windows and turned on the ceiling fans. It was soo nice to smell the fresh cooler air and have the wind whipping around the house. It was great.
Sooo refreshing.. really it was. It gave me the energy I was looking for to get my task's completed last night.
It always feels great to get things done around the house. Just one less thing on my mind to do.
Well tonight Mom and I went shopping for Wedding items. We had fun. I still have a ways to go get. Many more small things that need to be done yet. I wish I had a Fairy God Mother to snap her fingers and it would all be done for me.
This week we start our , marriage preparation class's. So that should be interesting. Meeting with a married couple from Church to learn all the in's and out's of marriage I guess. I am sure I will post more info about that after the fact.
June has been a terribly BUSY month for us this far and we aren't done just yet.
We had Dylan's Birthday, My Birthday, my Mother's B-day and Father's Day all in one week.
We also have several friends Birthday this month as well. I guess it is a party month you could say.
We have our food taste test this month, which will be great fun !
This week my car is in the shop all week, getting the breaks and things fixed. In the meantime I am thankful I have the truck to drive. However not as thankful for the gas it sucks driving back and forth to work each day. The TAB is high. Lucky for me I have a wonderful man that takes care of my needs. Much appreciation to him.
Well I better run for now !
Hope that each and everyone of you have a great week !
Keep in touch, I know it is hard and busy sometime in the summer. But I love hearing from you.
Thanks for the other's that have emailed me recently with updated on family info and picture's of your families and such. I love seeing them and hearing what is new with you all.

Father's Day Card
WiSe WoRdS !!
I really like what that had to say.. something to think about for sure !!!!!!!!!!
Here is something else I really liked as well..
Winners vs. Losers
A winner is always part of the answer.
A loser is always part of the problem.
A winner always has a plan.
A loser always has an excuse.
A winner says: "Let me do it for you.
"A loser says: "That is not my job."
A winner sees an answer for any problem.
A loser sees a problem for any answer.
A winner sees a green near every sand trap.
A loser sees two sand traps near every green.
A winner says: "It may be difficult but it's possible."
A loser says: "It may be possible but it's too difficult."
Author Unknown
I think we can apply this winner and loser thinking to alot of people and alot of situations in this day and age.
Decide today if you want to live in the WINNER world or the LOSER world. It's all about ATTITUDE !!!!
You decide each day.............

I am AN American
ORANGE COUNTY ( CALIFORNIA ) NEWSPAPER
This is a very good letter to the editor. This woman made some good points. For some reason, people have difficulty structuring their arguments when arguing against supporting the currently proposed immigration revisions. This lady made the argument pretty simple.
NOT printed in the Orange County Paper...................
Newspapers simply won't publish letters to the editor which they either deem politically incorrect (read below) or which does not agree with the philosophy they're pushing on the public. This woman wrote a great letter to the editor that should have been published; but, with your help it will get published via cyberspace!
New ImmigrantsFrom: "David LaBonte"
My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was not printed. So, I decided to "print" it myself by sending it out on the Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined.Dave LaBonte (signed)
Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register:
Dear Editor:
So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.
Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.
They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture.
Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity. Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany , Italy , France and Japan None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan They were defending the United States of America as one people. When we liberated France , no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.
And here we are in 2006 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.
And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty , it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.(signed) Rosemary LaBonte
P. S. Pass this on to everyone you know!!! KEEP THIS LETTER MOVING!!I hope this letter gets read by millions of people all across the nation!!
Ever onward!!
MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA

More wonderful things !
Today is Sunday..morning.. that is !
As I have once again awoken sooo early. But it was 7am not 6 like yesterday.
Weekends seems tooooo short for me and the weeks sooo long. As much as I LOVE my weekends, I never seem to get to rest and relax or get much time for myself. Weekends usually mean work for me. A list of all the things I didn't find time for or wasn't able to get to during the long work week.
But today as I have a million things to do and gifts to get ready for others, my dear friends Stacie, My Mother's Birthday this week and Father's Day as well.
I wanted to take a moment of THANKS !
The pictures above are a few more Birthday gifts !
I got them last night and let's just say they where the first things in the yard..bright and early this morning!!
Thanks to Dylan, Steph, Dave and Paulette.
Last night we went to Jes's parents house for a double birthday party. Dylan's Birthday is June 10th and mine is the 11th so we partied together. Great food, bonfire, hot tubbing, and some wonderful gifts. Thanks to you all for making this year a special one for me !
I love the gifts. They are great!
One small thing done.

Jokes... hope you laugh !
Finally, the doctor came in looking tired and somber.
"I'm afraid I'm the bearer of bad news," he said as he surveyed the worried faces.
"The only hope left for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant.
It's an experimental procedure, very risky but it is the only hope.
Insurance will cover the procedure, but you will have to pay for the brain yourselves."
The family members sat silent as they absorbed the news. After a great length of time, someone asked, "Well, how much does a brain cost?"
The doctor quickly responded, "$5,000 for a male brain, and $200 for a female brain."
The moment turned awkward. Men in the room tried not to smile, avoiding eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked.
A man unable to control his curiosity, blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask,
"Why is the male brain so much more?"
The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, "It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to mark down the price of the female brains, because they've actually been used."
Quote for the day !
Hope ALL you LADIES get a giggle out of it !
" God may have created Men before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece"
Gosh did I sure LOVE this one !
Is the weekend here ?

Busy Month
I am catching up.. since I can't add my 2 cents at work anymore, it makes it hard to get these post's done at night with always having a million things on my mind and a "TO DO" list that never ends.
Sooo here I am taking a sec or two to get a post on here.
Since it is almost been a week already since my last.
This month is a busy one....
We have invites, projects, plan's, birthday and a holiday this month as well. If I am still stane at the end I am going to be a very happy woman.
I have several friend's brithdays this month, & Dylan ( Jes's Bro) Birthday, Mine, My Mom's, Father's day all in one week and that is just next week.
I just might go broke this month !
I have to stop at the local B & B ( Bath and Body ) to check out their sales. I love some of their new scents.
I got a few things..but not toooo much. Hoping someone might get me some stuff for my B-day next week.
They have these AWESOME candles I just LOVE and all new for summer. They are normally 20.00. But a steal this week for only 10.00. Wish I could get them all.
There is strawberrie patch. Passion fruit and ahhhhh Fresh Lemonaide. Which I could get one of each.
I have the strawberrie patch plug in air refresher now. But I would love some candles.
Anyhow...... we've been busy! Many projects to do around here.
I am not getting tooo far on the wedding to do list either. Getting a bit freaked out over all I have left to in a few short months.
This last weekend I did buy Jes's ring at Jared ! So that's checked off the list ! Glad to have it done.
Wellllll much to do.... Hope you are all doing well !
