I am feeling a bit better today with the migraine. Not outta the woods yet. But doing better.

Just wanted to wish you all a great weekend.

Home and Suffering

Well, it is Thursday night, and I am home. After spending nearly most of the day at work suffering from a major migraine headache I had to leave work @ 2pm.
I tired so hard to make it the whole day. But when I pain got sooo bad I just had to go.

Not thinking I could make it the drive home. I went to my parents home to rest for a bit. I knew no one would be there this afternoon. I took more Advil as I got there.
Rested for some time. But no luck getting over it.
With much pain and disappointment, so time later I made it home to my own bed.

I feel terrible. Not only my body..my head but my heart.
Today I was to leave work a bit early and go apply for my new social security card so I could get the ball rolling with the rest of my name changes and things at work. But tonight was suppose to be my night with my Grandfather at the nursing home. It was warm and sunny out. We could have gone outside on the patio for a nice visit. Normally my grandma would be home. But her and my mother are gone. With my head as it was, I could barely make it home much less to visit all night with him. I am so sad. I have printed wedding pictures of us together to put in his room. I have bought fall and halloween decor to put up in his room. I wanted to do it all. Spend some meaningful one on one time with him. He is sooo cute and always has the cutest things to say. Good memories for sure. All stolen from me tonight because of this pain in my head.

I am feeling a bit better, the pain is not as intense, but by no means gone. I am hoping I feel back to myself by tomorrow. As for the pain I am sooo ready to wave good bye to it.

I don't have any meds from the doc for these migraines. But you can bet my next visit I am going to have to ask for some. The over the counter ones just aren't even making a dent in the pain.

Hope this day, for you was far better then it was for me.

This is sooo sweet and I was so touched!

So much love from my new Husband !

Jesse was having a little fun with his new tool and his first thing he did to try it out was this.

I felt so bad, through out the whole shower and wedding process alot of gifts where for me or for the house or home decor or kitchen items. Which I loved, but for a man....not toooo thrilling as you can imagine.

Jes loves to work with wood. A hobby of his. For some time he has had his eye on some tools. Some sort of saw, a belt sander and some other things.

So I told him with the Menards cards from the wedding and one from my parents that he saved from his Birthday in July I wanted him to get somethings for himself. So he did with much joy. Last Sunday morning I headed to the farmers market for fresh fruits and veggies and flowers. When I came home I found this on the kitchen table waiting for me. Just had to share it. It was sooo cute and sooo touching to me.

Today @ 7:48 am they welcomed a new baby boy into their hearts and lives.

Brandon, he is 9lbs, 12oz's and 21 inch's long.

Fall is Here and Here to Stay !

Hey Everyone -

Well Fall is here. This weekend I have high hopes to finish getting all of my Wedding items put away and cleaned up. All my chores done. Since I have many that got put off and neglected due to getting prep.

I also hope to get out my Halloween Decor, besides Xmas this is one of my BIG decorating Holidays.
Jes and I go all out. The whole inside and outside of the house are decked out in Halloween Decor. It so sooo fun and all of the neighbors really enjoy it from what they tell us !

Something fun to look forward to... then before we know it, it will be Xmas and decorating and gift buying, then following that will be New Years and then our long awaited , very exciting honeymoon. YIPPPPPY.

Jes and I did take a few days off to visit the North Shore and the sites up there. We had a wonderful time as we snuggled up to a nice fire and a good movie during the evenings. It was nice. It was good to have just a day or two to ourselves. Not tooo restful since we found ourselves driving and hiking the trails by the North Shore. But fun nevertheless. We got some great pic's I'll have to share as well.

I hope you all are doing well ! It sure was nice to see everyone's faces at the wedding. Some we see often and others we wish we did see more often. So nice to see you all and chat a bit. Good Memories that is for sure.
Even better ones to Scrapbook ! Hehehehe my winter projects, among many others on the list for at home.

We seem to start alot of things but never get them full finished. As I am sure many people can relate to. I think this winter is going to be a busy one for us!

Just a bit of Inspiration for you!

On an email I got this 'quote' and wanted to share it. I thought it was nice !

I have a story to share as well.

Last week my mom was having 30 fellow gardeners to visit her yard and pond. My Mom didn't know them. If you know my Mom, she wants every flower to look its best and everything in place in the yard. It is her pride and joy ! Anyhow, she has some not so nice, young kids that live behind her. Well ,they think it's fun to play in and around the pond. Much to my Mom's dis-may. She has told them to leave her things alone. But they never do. Well one morning she went out to the pond and all her yard decor was in the pond. Because of this they also put a whole in the liner of her pond. Big money, big time and a big project to fix. My mom was pissed. They have done it again. Now the pond would not hold water. She has no time to fix it before the big showing. She asked her self how could she ever show a pond that would not even hold the water. She could only get it to stay half full. As much as she tried to fill it all the time.

This was bad for the fish and the pumps and her water plants and the whole life of her pond this summer.

So what did she do ? She prayed. She asked God to do something to help her. To fix it. She prayed for a miracle. The next morning, the day of the tour she went out to the back yard. To see if the kids had done yet any more damage. Only to her surprise she found the pond full. It was holdings it own water. She hadn't fixed it. She hadn't put more water in. She knew right away what had happened. God had granted her wish. The pond was working and fully functional for her tour. The sad news it, the day after the tour, it was back down to only 1/2 the water. But this is a true, shocking story of how God works.

I know there is alot of dis-believers out there. I never thought something like this would work so fast and God would respond so quickly. But it is true!

So if you believe, have gone lost nothing. If you don't believe there can be nothing gained. The choice is your's.

So Sorry !

Hey everyone out there in blogger land.

Sorry it has been a while. Last weekend we where at the lake for 4 days and then since we have gotten home it has been run, run, run !

We had a super time at the lake ! It was nice to get away for a few days and just take in the nice weather and have some fun on the water with the boat. It was much needed before the wedding. It is alot of work to pack and unpack. But well worth it.

Now we the count down has started. Not to many days until the big day ! We are all looking forward to it. Fun times a head. We have a few days before and a few days after the wedding to get everything done. Then a few days after to relax just a bit !

Hope that all of you with kids got your kids off to school and they are enjoying getting back into the swing of things again. As well as seeing old friends. As well as all the new clothes and school supplies. You have to admit. That was the best part of going back to school. Fond memories of my much younger days. Hehehehe.

Hope you also all had a good and safe labor day weekend as well !
