We are backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk !

Well we are back.... and as promised we brought along some warm and sunny weather !!!

Here is a view of your boat when it was docked in St. Thomas Virgin Islands. Our room was the 3rd from the very top of the ship. Let just say it was a rockin' and I don't mean from all the lovin' either !

Below are some very pretty colored painted buildings in Sun Juan, Puerto Rico. and I just love the detail and the color on these. All of the house and buildings looked like these and I loved it. We did ALOT of walking this day, the places was pretty but the streets where very dirty.
Below here is a pic, thru our port hole on the Altantis Submarine ride we took. It was a fun experience to see the sea bottom. But we where disappointed in the lack of color.
This is a pic from San Juan again. This was an old fort, they had a few of these and they use to keep alook out for people and used these for war, as well as the protect their island. Interesting.

Here is a pic of Jesse at Half Moon Cay - An island in the Bahama's. It was very warm this day and the white sand and weather and sun felt great. But it was about a 103 degress's in tempture difference for us. From -20. when we left to a nice humid 83 degress on this island.

Here is me in the wonderful pretty teal colored water. This was also at Half Moon Cay in the Bahama's. With our boat behind us.

This is a cute little guy... just one of many that was left on our bed at night that was made out of a towel by man whom took care of our cabin for us.

Over all it was a big learning experience of us both.

The boat was big. We had a room with a deck and we could walk out and get that warm ocean breeze whenever we liked. We where on port side of the boat. So as we entered the next port we could just step out and see what awaited us next.

There was shopping and food and casions and bars and great night shows on our boat. There was never a lack of something to do. Wouldn't you know it for the first time ever Carinval even started selling scrapbooks and papers so you could make one to match your trip. Well you know me.. this was a must. It was like a big floating hotel I guess you could say. We have vegas shows and something fun each night after dinner.

While we had alot of fun. Went on Submarine rides, and snorkling for our very first time. I have to say it was very tiring. Alot of walking. Figuring out what to do and where you where going and how to get there. The ship was huge. We often got frusted at the size and there was no help to figure out where and how to get to things.

There was alot of food. Non that was all that great. Get I still managed to gain some weight !!! YIKES...even with all that hiking we did.

I did get sick one day and found myself in the room and close to the bathroom. We had some ruff sea's and wow could you ever feel it. It is day two now at home and both Jes and I are still feeling the WAVES!!! It is hard in ones mind to know the ground is still. But you feel like you are still moving like on the boat. But we hope this shall too pass. However we are told this is normal.

We both where disappointed by some of the things with carvinal. It was not well organzied and checking in was not sooo fun. If we go on a cruise again, it will be with a different cruiseline.

Hope you all enjoyed just a few of our 400 pictures and we hope to get back in touch with all of our friends and family. Thanks to all the calls and emails we have already recieved inquiring about our trip. We appreciate you thinking of us both.

Back to the real world and work tomorrow for me at least. We still have to find it in us to unpack all of those fun goodies we bought along at way.... and then I will get the pleasure all of that wash !!!

We already ran to Costco to get our pic's done and so I can't wait to get out my new scrapbook and get to work.

Well it is almost time ! Here are some fun pic's for you all to see where we will be staying the next week.

We are both really getting more so excited right now. We are packed for the most part, just the last minute things we will need to thru in there. Boy is it alot of work and alot of clothes. But it will be well worth it I am sure.

We will get to visit Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Miami, Virgin Islands, Half Moon Cay.We hope to have fun and get some sun !! I am also looking forward to jumping in the ocean and seeing all those pretty colors and pretty fishies swimming below me. We even have the underwater camera ready for that as well.

We hope to have a safe trip and I am really hoping that I do not get sick. But I am prepared just incase.

As I have said before this is our first cruise, first vacation as a married couple. But not first vacation together. I will be taking many pictures and posting them when we get home..... I am sure I will get some good ones to share. If we can we will try and bag up some warmth and bring that home with us.

We have several people watching the pets and the house and everything ready to go.

My Dad is going to be so nice and take us to the airport at about 5 in the morning. But we are planning to get up hours before then.

Bad New for Our Family !

Hello All -

Well this is the week we have been waiting for. While we are both excited for our new adventure on our first cruise we got some sad news to share.

My Father was informed that he has Kidney failure. For those that don't know much about this. This is HUGE and will have a large impact on both of my parents, my father's job, that is if he can keep it, their life style, insurance and everything. Sad to report.... it will not be a good impact. My Dad will need to be added to the list for a transplant as well. They will go to class's to learn how to deal with this all and what their options are. It just breaks my heart. It also is a huge wake up call for me. I could be in the same place someday. My Father is 56 young. Not to old to be having all of the issues and complications that he has. He has heart dieses and diabetes. So sad !

If you could all please keep him and my Mother in your thoughts and your prayers as they go thru this difficult time and learn how to deal and how to cope with it all. I am so worried about them both !

My Father was also suppose to have a total ankle replacement due to his broken ankle that will not heal over a year later. He will no longer we able to have this done, due to his condition.

Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.

Winter Hello !!

Hello -

Well this sun is going to be my new friend and I can't wait.

Jes and I got a tanning package. In hopes to be somewhat smart and get a little of a basis tan so that when we leave we are not miserable. Lobster Red really is not my color. Ahh I have to say with the limited amount of sun we have gotten I look forward to it.

Even the false sun/ UV rays in the tanning bed. It is nice to have 15 mins to lay in warmth and light.
It kinda lifts your spirits in this cold glummy Mn winter. That is for sure.

The other night I got home from work and I was tired and somewhat crabby and a bit tense.
I wasn't sure I wanted to go tanning. But I did it anyhow. Well we got there and our beds where really busy. So the girl at the Tanning Salon gave us a 30.00 value totally free to us. It was our lucky day.
We don't have many of those lately. We each got a free 15 min massage in the HYRO messaging bed.
It was great. You had soft, soooothing music to listen to. I just closed my eyes and laid down and relaxed. Then I got to go hope in my another 15 mins tanning bed. Wow.. a half and hour and I felt like a brand new woman. Now... If I could just have those in my house so I could do that all the time. Heheheheheh!

While tanning is something I would NEVER do on a regular basis. It sure is a nice for a few times.
I am not a fan of cancer and so many people are getting it these days. I would not do it all the time and get skin cancer. That is for sure. It is important to be smart and be careful as well ! But it is a nice feeling to get some rays.

I still have my Xmas tree up and though everything is off it. I need to get it down. Tomorrow is friday already and my weekend to do list is very extensive. I have alot to get done in a short amount of time.

I like to have the house spot else before we leave for vacation. Also since we will have people here to take care of Jaz.

Drive safe in the snow that I hear we are suppose to get. Tomorrow morning traffic will suck for us that work during the week. So stay safe and leave a bit early.

Something that you'd like to own by the end of 2008: Can't say I have anything for this. So many people these days get wrapped up in material items. When sometimes they need to be happy with themselves rather then trying to buy themselves happiness.

Something that you'd like to get rid of by the end of 2008: My High blood pressure, weight, stress... things that have a negative effect on my health.

One change you'd like to see in your life in 2008: Taking better care of myself and figuring out just how to do it and make it work.
One thing you'd like to memorize in 2008: I memorize too many things already.
Something that you'd like to improve on: Like is a cycle of improvement, so this is something that will always be happening for me.
Something you'd like to learn in 2008: Unsure - it is barely 2008 yet !
Something you're looking forward to this year: My cruise this month for my Honeymoon and Summer and planting all my flowers and waiting for other to pop up. Possibly doing some more landscaping as well.

What do you want outta '2008' ?

Well "2008" is here !

We had such a nice New Years. My hope was to stay home. But we had a nice time. We saw a funny comedy act and then headed to some friends house for yummy munchies, games and a champagne toast at the stroke of Midnight with a nice kiss from my Hubby ! It turned out really nice. It was nice to get outta the house and have some fun. That is for sure.

New Years day was even better. It was a lazy day with an afternoon nap ! It was great. We did a few chores around the house. Jes was a big help and I so appreciate that. Sometimes I feel sooo overwhelmed with all the demands of keeping up a house and a big family. So it was nice to have his help. It made the chores not seem so bad and it felt good to get them done as a team. Thanks dear.. wink wink ! Then we watched some TV and took a nap like I said. Ahhh nice ! I soo needed it.

So, some people in Blog land have been coming up with a WORD they want to start 2008 with.
My word will be BLESSED !!!

Blessed with many,many things.
We have been blessed already.. even though some days it may be hard to remember that fact. As the world and life gets busy and sometimes a bit frustrating with the normal daily challenges like throws at us.
But hope we are bless with good health , ( weight lose for me ).
I hope we are blessed with Work for Jes this year. ( As he has not been working for going on 4 months)
Blessed with more peace and less stress.

Blessed with a little angel on my shoulder watching over me day after day.
I hope we are blessed with good luck. Yesterday Jes made a funny comments... the only luck we seem to have is bad luck.If it wasn't for that we wouldn't have any at all. Hehehhe
