What is our dollar worth ?

Well in this day and age our dollar is not worth a whole lot. In fact the U.S. Dollar is fastly becoming worth less. In fact other countries money is worth alot more then ours. Some what of a depressing thought...considering how hard we work for it.

Here is an interesting fact....., DID YOU KNOW ???
( I got this from the Chicago Sun Times)
The U.S. Department of Labor's Web site offers an inflation calculator so you can see how the buying power of a dollar has shrunk throughout the years.
* What cost you $1 in 1980 will cost you $2.63 today.
* What cost you $1 in 1990 will cost you $1.66 today.

Amazing isn't it? And to think that a gallon of gas is almost $4.00. Our Minimum wage is 5.15 per hour for small companies, and 6.15 for large companies before taxes. Sick to think that some people work one hour for one gallon of gas. ¥
