It is finally here ......
If you know me at all... or you might be able to pick up from my blog... I am not a reader.. just never got into books much. To be honest... I really don't seem to find the time. When I do have some down time here or there.. I usually use it to scrapbook or stamp. The rest of my time seems to be consumed with projects and chores inside and outside of the house when I am not working full time.
We always seem to have ALOT going on ..most of the time....
But for years I have heard Gary Spivey on a local radio station. I have always been interested in his psychic abilities and find it intriguing. So after visiting his website at www.garyspivey.com... and listening to some of the people on there.. I thought I would buy his book and see what it could do for me and possibly the info I could share with my friends and family as well.
One part talks and deals with Angels and that is also something that I have always been curious about as well.
We have sooo much bad in this world... and some many negative things all the time. Besides the stress's of work and every day living. A little positive and insight could only be but a good thing to bring into my life.
So this weekend my to do list... is just that a list. With little accomplished on it. But instead of feeling good about all the things I accomplished this long holiday weekend. I took the time to get some rest, have some fun, spend some quality time with my Hubby, and....read some of my new exciting book that arrived this Friday when I returned home from work. It was almost as if the timing was perfect. I had a 3 day weekend to really DIG into the book and read some very interesting...intriguing info and be enlightened at the same time.
One more day off and I am thrilled to have a extra day off of work.
I hope you are all safe and enjoying your long holiday weekend as well.
Quote for the day....
( Picture taken out our local state fair )
This is funny... I wanted to give you all a laugh this weekend...
Whatever you give a woman, she's going to multiply. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So - if you give her crap, you will get a bucket full of shit.
Did you know ????
This is a long one..but VERY interesting...
This was written by a doctor's wife, and I want to share it with you. She was over recently for coffee and smelled the bleach Iwas using to clean my toilet and countertops. This is what she told me. ..I would like to tell you of the benefits of that plain little ole bottle of3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. What does bleachcost? My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, and most doctors don't tell you about peroxide.
Have you ever smelled bleach in a doctor'soffice? NO!!! Why? Because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask them if they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!?Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40's? It's chlorine,Folks! And it was used to kill our troops. Peroxide was invented during WWI in the 20's. It was used to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals.
Please think about this.
1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) andhold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when Ibathe.) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter without expensivepastes. Use it instead of mouthwash.
2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free ofgerms. Dorie just pours it over them once in awhile.
3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leavea fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray iton the counters.
4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to killsalmonella and other bacteria.
5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture ofperoxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry. I used it full strength every day, and it worked.?I wasted money buying the stuffthe foot doctor sold me for over two years.? Use some peroxide, then clean what you can under the toe nail and the peroxide again. Do this maybe once aweek.
6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutesseveral times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with anymedicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.
7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and keepit in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic system likebleach or most other disinfectants will.
8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixturewhenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill thebacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue.
9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.
10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will nothave the peroxide-burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty blonde. It alsolightens gradually, so it's not a drastic change.
11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils, fungus, orother skin infections.
12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whitesin your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour itdirectly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.
13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is why Ilove it so much for this. I am going to try this on cleaning the car windowsby putting some on a rag and make sure I don't touch the dash.
14. Mix 1 capfull of peroxide into your favorite dishsoap each time you buy a new bottle.
15. Disinfect kitchen sponge daily using # 14 ^.
16. Mix 1/2 capfull into liquid hand and bath soaps - helps with germs and acne!I could go on and on. ( waer gloves..your hand could turn white otherwise.
It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to save tons ofmoney in such a simple, healthy manner!

Eye Appt.
Where would we be without them ???
Today I had a eye appointment.... My doc has been insisting on me having a yearly eye appointment...! It is a requirement now for me with my age and diabetes. Sooo I thought that things have settled down a bit I better get in there and get it done...
I have not had my eyes checks in years... and to be honest... I was expecting it to be a total breeze. The doctor I had was very nice, and it was very easy.
My Hubby has been teasing that maybe I needed glass's because he see's me squinting at things. If I do, I don't notice myself doing it.
Anyhow..... I got some good news and some bad news !
Good news... my sight is fine. No need for glass's or anything else....
Bad news.... I do have signs of my diabetes in my eyes... the doc spotted some hemorrhages in my blood vessels in my eyes. So I have to see a specialist to get pictures of my eyes so they can keep tabs on my eyes and any changes that might happen or if we need to take action.
So that will be my next step.........!
Thats all from me tonight....
Still fighting a bit of a migraine from last night and my lack of sleep !

Helpful Tints
The wealthiest, most successful people have a specific attitude and do certain things in life to create what they want. They use all the props available to them, especially their own mindset. They learn how to let go of any kind of negative, self-limiting doubt and belief.
I would encourage you to take the same steps.
1. Think Big (be realistic, however think bigger than you ever have before. Everything is within your reach if you take action and think positively).
2. Set Intentions (this is different from goals, intentions have no dates). Set 12 yearly `intentions and work through your list. (Keep the list where you can see it)
3. Make a commitment to yourself and one other person who will keep you accountable. (Family member, friend, coach, mentor)
4. Write goals. Two for mid year, June30th and Two for December 31st. Make goals concise and clear, be realistic, write in the now, (as if already happened) give them specific dates and use an end step.
5. Write a plan of action. (whether you are a working professional or an entrepreneur we all need action plans.
6. Keep attending professional and personal growth events. Hire a coach, mentor, Trainer. (do whatever it takes to get you to where you want to be.)
7. Take Action NOW.

Spending wisely......
We have always hated our Kitchen handles. But they came with the house... again.. there are other things that we would spend money on and they are functional..although they are ugly. But again we found a steal. These days most handles cost anywhere from 3.00 to 15.00 each. Well we have 31 of them so that is not cheap..But we found a steal...
Here are the upgraded more modern handles..... much better improvement.
Another steal..... a 44.00 purse.. I got it for 3.00. LOVE IT......! Does that say summer or what ???
My last steal for the week.... pop..normallllly 4.00 a 12pk. I got it for a $1.22.
It feels great to find steals and deals.....
It is also fun to do things here and there to do upgrades to our home! We have many things to do yet..but one deal and steal at a time. Or at least where we can.
Night night all !

Mn State Fair !!!
My hubby and I are going to get our tennies on and go. We have to be honest , most of our summer has been consumed with chores and work and projects. So we are treating the end of the summer with a reward by going to the fair. Just the two of us. Its the best way to go. We like to look at the same things and we can go and do what we want to.
Sooo what is the big deal ? It is great fun and something I always look forward to each year. There are millions of things to eat and millions of things to do and see. You can spend alot or you can spend simply the ticket to get in.
In other states I hear the state fairs are not that big of deal. But Mn is one of the biggest fairs there is! It attracts millions of people to it each year.
So this is what I look forward to doing.....
I hope you have something to look forward toooo....
Well better run... while the Hubby is away..the wife will play? I wish.. while the Hubby is at a meeting.. the wife gets to get a bunch of chores done. I have been sooo productive night and it is a great feeling. But I better run.. I still have a few things to do yet...
Till next time.

Is it Friday yet ?????????
I am happy to say that I am glad this day is nearly done.......
As it has not been a good one...
I had a very late night last night with my migraine lurking in the back ground. Today was a ruff one with not much sleep and my headache still there. Tonight it seems to be flaring up a bit, I think due to stress and I am not pleased about that. But I will do all my normal things to help it and pray it will subside.
This morning as I forced my self to work... once I got there the day seemed to get worse..... as the workload was heavy and we are busy. I got a phone call this morning from my sister with some bad news. My aunt that is simply a few years older then I had been taken to the ER late last night and my Father was almost taken late last night as well.
My Father is not always doing so well and we all worry about him alot.
His coloring is not good and he has a serious infection in on open wound on his foot which is eating his bone. He is to take some strong meds and see what happens. He might still have to be hospitalized if things don't get better. He also was told he can not work for a month. He has stage 5 Kidney failure and he is a serve diabetic and so those are always things that make his process alot longer to heal as well as more complicated. Due to the infection his foot was 4 times the normal size and the skin was peling off like paper I was told.
With a busy life and week this week and other items that I also have going on...this was not good news. If you all could find it in our hearts to keep the entire family in your thoughts and prayers it would be appreciated. The more positive energy the better!!!
Tomorrow as the worry will be in my mind and hopefully not my headache. I look forward to a Stampin' Up party and if we make cards I will post them.
I need a little fun to releave some stress. Or I myself will not be well either.
That's all for me tonight. I am going to go and get some rest. If I have another late or sleepless night I will be in rough shape myself tomorrow.

Minneapolis Remembers......
Aug 1st 2007, ( picture from Washington Post)
Today our home... MN remembers all of the people that passed in this terrible tragedy that happened when the bridge fell. What a life changing chance of events for soooo many people. Today..tonight... those people will all be honored..both the living and the dead! But today our state and it's citizen's also remember the horrible news....! Just one year ago this happened and sooo many where affected. I pray for all of the families tonight.... I thank god I was not one of them and none of my loved ones where either. But it easily could have been. Lets take a minute to remember!
( P.S. this was also one of my Bridal showers this night )
