Here is get another treat. ( Below ) They have small bags inside these with yummy carmel candy corn! Oh a few of them I punch a hole in the top of the orange tag and put black Halloween ribbon on too.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my Halloween goodies. I hope the people that receive them will like them as well!

As you can see I was a busy girl... I made all of these and the spiders and cards. But it was fun!

No update- Update

Hey everyone... just wanted to tell you.. nothing new to report.
I am busy the next few nights getting ready for our family Halloween campfire and party. So I am not sure that I will be on here much.

A new Look !

Well my Hubby has been working for weeks at his parents putting on a new deck and with their insurance money they paid him. Most of which we saved for the winter months incase he does not have work. But we took a small amount and got this new piece of carpet for 50% off. Such a steal and such a good look for our living room. I has been a huge mess and a huge chore taking the living room apart and then laying the carpet. Jes laid it all himself. Then cleaning everything down and putting it all back together again. But the end result is worth it. Only down fall is I lost a day worth of my other chores I needed to get done and items I need to do for the party this coming week. I am very organized and like to get everything done a head of time. So I am allllll ready. Well with out any more Sunday rambling here you go....

P.S. It is a chilly Sunday here in Mn. 36 degree's for the day and raining and windy as heck ! But a good day to be inside doing chores. Soooo I don't mind! Enjoy everyone. Oh and we did have some snow flakes come down this morning as well. But they promise back up to the 60's this coming weekend for all the little ones on Halloween ! Yipppy. I hate it to be cold for them.

Hello......

Hello everyone...its been a bit busy here.... Sorry I haven't posted in a little while. Just been fighting a headache all week and Friday it finally turned into my migraine that I am use to.

I also joined Facebook this week and I am trying to learn that as well.

It looks like a pretty fall day at a mere 42 degree's here in Mn this morning. but hey.. the sun is out and that is a good thing.

Today I have to clean my yucky fish tank and get it prepped to get my fish out of the pond and back into the house for the winter. I also need to get ready for a Family party next weekend and have alot of prep for that, I am going to try and get done this weekend as well.

I have also been busy with getting Halloween items make for a few friends and some co-workers. I did make Halloween cards this year as well. But just a handful due to time. I have a card exchange at work in a few weeks and need to find time to get 20 more cards made as well. Ahhh never ending I tell you. But at least I am living life with my friends and family.

I still have alot of yard work to attend to..but things are cold and wet outside..so that will have to wait for now.

Hubby and I also got some new carpet for our upstairs living room and we are cleaning and moving everything out of that room so we can get it installed our selves.. ahhhhh

Where to run..first I am not sure !

This month life seems to be a series of lists of items that are alllll screaming for my attention !

I got this in an email today and thought it was cute and wanted to share.

Dont get our cake from ButterCream

Disappointment... Lately I have been experiencing alot of it lately. From a few different area's in my life.

But today was yet another one.

A week ago I was speaking at work to a co-worker. I remembered that back in Sept for our 1 year anniversary I was suppose to receive a remake of the top of our wedding cake.

So today I called Buttercream bakery where we bought our wedding cake.
I explained to them last month was our 1 year anniversary and I was promised a free cake top that was to look like our wedding cake. That was the agreement at the time of our purchase of our wedding cake. So what do you know. When it was time to collect.... it has changed. They 'don't' do that. So after talking over things with her she said I was not getting my cake. I explained to her.. that nothing is totally free and I am sure that the price of the 1 year cake was included in my price of my original wedding cake. So in reality I am sure we paid for it. Needless to say.. I was told I could get a cake for the price of 23.00. Plus the fact this is about a 40-45 min drive for us one way. So I told her she would need to cancel my order since she would not honor the agreement at the time of purchase. Here I was soo excited to get a piece of my wedding back a year later.

Ahhhhhh ! I am sooo disappointed in people these days, and there is no service or no willingness to have any sort of customer service these days.

I would not give them your money or business because they do not honor their word. Even though that is what was promised then.

Sorry..not a very happy post today !

WOW $2.39

Wow... on my way home today.. the local gas station had gas for 2.39 a gallon. It keeps on going down. Which is good. But I am curious as to how long this will be happening.

I bet after Nov 5th when the Presidential Elections done, the gas prices will start to climb again. I think the only reason the gas prices are going down it due to the election and they don't want the gas price to be something that people have in their mind while voting.

But while it is cheaper. I will take it! Even if it is short lived!

Some Halloween at our Home.....

Well.. we did it .. yesterday we added some more Halloween.. other then just the front step to our yard ! While it is no where near all the items we have... we wanted to put something out. We did.. 'do it all' since it is now just getting tooo late in the month! But I wanted to share with you just a bit. It is sooo fun to see and to see how the kids around here love it.

Above I have a 4 foot blow up pumpkin and I have a scarecrow as he waves at people driving by !
This is on the front of my house..under the garage lights while also have orange bulbs in them !
Here is my 5 foot friendly vampire...he is along the side walk coming up to the house.
A smaller guy in my STILL blooming flowers by my front door !

Here is one huge blow up 6 feet across and since you could not see it all that great with the camera shot and the big of due on it I took a few close ups of the inside. These are also all lit at night as well. We have some other lit up ghosts and pumpkins and flower and pumpkins in my flower box by the house and such as well..but here is just a bit of it. We did not put up all our orange lights or other spider and globe blow ups this year since we wanted to downside due to time this year!

Welcome Baby Parker

Last night we went to see Baby Parker that was just a few hours old..
Welcome Baby Parker to our family !

He was born 10/17/2008 @ 1:28 pm in the afternoon. He was not as big as the doctors told Mommy at the original guess of 9lb 14 oz's. He is still a great size baby at 8lbs 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long.

Deals

Well as I have shared a few times here and there... I am a girl always looking for a deal and a steal ! Sooooo... when shopping I found this digital photo frame for about 65% off all said and done. It was a great find. It was something that I didn't NEED..but I have always had my eye on them and thought it would be fun to own one. So for less then 40.00 it was going to be mine.

Then I made a stope to the Elk River Dollar store and found these great goodies ! They had many items that Target sold ! But all for 1.00! What a sell. So I got a few things !

Today it is nice and Sunny out and I need to get myself outside. I have MANY plants to get trimmed down for winter...

I am also hosting a family chili, bonfire halloween night and I need to get my outdoors ready for that as well !

It is getting closer

I saw this little guy and had to post him. He is just sooo cute !

Well, WOW.. it has been a busy week and a busier weekend.

We are praying for my Father In Law as he was taken to the hospital last night. He is there under going testing. We don't know what is wrong with him as of yet. Other then he has serve had pain in the middle of the night.

My Sister in Law will be having her first baby tomorrow afternoon so we will be going to see the proud parents and the baby on Sat.

We also have out of town guest's coming in from Sioux Falls, SD this weekend. So will be visiting with them.

In the mean time of all of that going on we are going to try and find a little time to do some chores, errands and putting up just a few of our outside Halloween items.

I also need to clean my fish tank so I can get my fish in from outside. It is getting much to cold for them outside at night. I don't want them to die. Some of them we have had for years.

I am thankful tomorrow is Friday. I am growing very tired.

Deer Lake Apple Orchard

Well the Sign above really says it all.... Today 10/12 the 'girls' went to the orchard!
Here is a little farm house that had animals in it. They had alot of stuff for kids, face painting, a maze, hay bails to play on, a hay ride...etc...

We also had a great drive around Buffalo lake to get there and all of the tree's where wonderful color and soooo pretty. I wish I could have gotten pic's of all those as well !!!

P.S. It is not a normal Fall MN day here.. it is humid and 75 ! WOW... we'll take it. Next week in moves the cold front I guess.

Around our home.....

Well it has been a busy week and a busy weekend. Friday night I got home and got some chores done... and got all packed for my day with the girls stamping at the local Archivers Store. I got alot done this time..But I can't post what I made. As it is for Halloween and I don't want anyone to get a sneak peak so I will have to post them later after the fact. But I got 15 porjects done for that. As well as 12 Halloween cards made as well. So it was a productive day. Now I have a card exchange at work I need to make cards for , for next month and then start on my X-mas cards ! I got a few more gifts over the weekend as well. So Sat I ran home from being with the girls to a family party that was ' back to the 60's' and then got up early this morning.. headed to work for a few hours. Then ran back home again and my Aunt,Grandma, Mom, Sister, Sisters Friend and I all went to Buffalo to the local apple orchard. Now I took a min to update my blog with info and pic's before I make dinner and read the Sunday Ads. Ahhhhhhhhhh call me tired... The weekend was wayyyy to packed!!

Wed Night Stampin'

It has been a busy week.. tonight Hubby and I did a few errands as well.

I just have tomorrow night to get ready and packed. As on Sat. Morning I am meeting a few friends from work at the local Achievers for a stamping day. I have a few Halloween projects planned to do.. So it will be a good time I am sure. I hope I get more accomplished this time.

I will post what I make..... hopefully Sunday !

As for other news... Hubby and I ran to get our hair cut tonight and I got a new hair style. I had longer hair and I got about 5-6 inches cut off. No more pony tails for me. I might miss that. ( We'll see ) But my natural curls are showing and I like it. It looks cute !

Tomorrow is FRIDAY and I couldn't be more pleased. It has been a long week.

Sunday we are also taking a Family trip to a local Apple Orchard and get some pumpkins, a hay ride.. and some Apple yummies. I will also take pic's and post them.
