But today was yet another one.
A week ago I was speaking at work to a co-worker. I remembered that back in Sept for our 1 year anniversary I was suppose to receive a remake of the top of our wedding cake.
So today I called Buttercream bakery where we bought our wedding cake.
I explained to them last month was our 1 year anniversary and I was promised a free cake top that was to look like our wedding cake. That was the agreement at the time of our purchase of our wedding cake. So what do you know. When it was time to collect.... it has changed. They 'don't' do that. So after talking over things with her she said I was not getting my cake. I explained to her.. that nothing is totally free and I am sure that the price of the 1 year cake was included in my price of my original wedding cake. So in reality I am sure we paid for it. Needless to say.. I was told I could get a cake for the price of 23.00. Plus the fact this is about a 40-45 min drive for us one way. So I told her she would need to cancel my order since she would not honor the agreement at the time of purchase. Here I was soo excited to get a piece of my wedding back a year later.
Ahhhhhh ! I am sooo disappointed in people these days, and there is no service or no willingness to have any sort of customer service these days.
I would not give them your money or business because they do not honor their word. Even though that is what was promised then.
