Bad Luck and Bad News

Hi everyone.. this year is not starting out to be a very good one.

I have many ill family members as well as the most recent, my Mother In Law was told she has bone cancer and we all worry and pray for her.

Just over a week ago as I was getting ready for work, I have noticed that my entire center diamond was gone off my Wedding ring. I was devastated. Gone, not just the diamond but the entire prong and everything. Gone. Lucky my Hubby bought the life time warranty and I was faithful with my ring inspections. I was sooo worried what I would do if they would not replace my diamond. So I went to Jared and they took a look at my ring and after a pleasant talk with the Manger they are going to replace it, at no cost to me. WOW was that a relief. Otherwise I would not have a ring for some time.

Well today I was blind sided as I went to work and was told I will be laid off in the cuts they are making. I am just one out of hundreds. I have a few months before it happens. Which I am thankful for. Because some had to leave today. But I do not have any sort of degree, nor have I had to interview in over 12 years. I also do not have a resume. So I have alot of work to do. In these hard times it is very scary to me. Also up until this point my Hubby was working..with a few days off here and there. But now he is slow again. Which means a limited income if any.

It is sad to think I am just one of thousands of other people and family's in the same hard times as us.

Maybe I can find passion in something new, that is what I am hoping for !

Please understand if I do not post for a few days.

I ask you keep me in your prayers. As well as all the other thousands of people that are jobless in the United States.

Good night

Sorry to hear about all your bad news. Too many bad things adding up can really get you down.
Just remember that bad things happen to everyone, and to keep your head up and an open mind.
Things happen for a reason. ¥

Oh Angie, I was so sorry to read this portion of your blog! I hope you are doing ok. Everyday at the library I help people who have lost their jobs and are dealing with resumes etc! There are some great resources out there, so let me know if you need help!!

PS You have a lot more skills than some of the people I have helped lately. Some have been at a job for 20+ years and have no clue how to use a computer! I feel so terrible and try to help them the best I can. So you will find something I just know it!
Take Care-tell jess i said hi!!
