Feeling the buzz ????????????

Well soon we might have snow and the Christmas items need to go up. Right ? Maybe. This exact weekend last year I could not WAIT for Christmas. I usually ALWAYS put my tree up the weekend of Thanksgiving. It is family tradition. Something that means alot to me. But last year I was soo excitied I did it a week early. Which would be this weekend. But this year. I am just not itching YET like last year to get that tree up. I am not sure why. I have already gotten several gifts bought and ready. As well as a few handmade small items. I could have enough to fill under the tree, with no doubt. But I just don't have the "need" or want yet to put it up. Maybe I'll get around to it next weekend like tradition. I dunno.
Well it has been a bit over a week since my last post and for that I am sorry. It has been a busy week. With some where to go to many nights this week !
We celebrated my Father's Birthday this week!
Last weekend there was a party at Brock's house. Jesse's cousin to celebrate his marriage.
The next week coming we have my Aunts Birthday and thanksgiving !
Jes still has not been working, nor will he be next week except for 1 half of day either thanksgiving day or Friday. Hurts the pocket book with all of the things going on and Christmas on the way. Good thing I got some items a head of time.
I still have Christmas cards to get started on and I might try and work on those a bit this weekend. We'll see. We really need to get some of our outdoor items up first. Which is usually at BEST, an all weekend project at least.
That is what's new with us !!!!
Hope you all have a super weekend. I have MANY things I want to start this weekend !

Thoughy... for the evening, or perhaps the weekend....

My dear friend Stacie sent this to me and I really liked what it has to say, so simply, so direct, so true and it really makes you think, if you only stop and take the time.
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes destiny.
Wow, just ponder and think of that tonight !

P.S. I went to work today and though a bit tired from my lack of sleep I am feeling better.
Thanks all of your kind hearts and wonderful words.
Have a happy and safe weekend all !

Its almost Friday !

Its almost Friday ! WOW the week went rather fast I guess and not in a good way for me.
Besides me there is also someone else who needs one of these this week.
As many of you know and I have written I have been suffering lately from ALOT of miagraines. They have been becoming a huge part of my life. To my dis-may and extreme dis-comfort. So a month ago when I went to the doc I got something from him. Which I thought would releave my pain. Make me feel better. So I paid a 50.00 co-pay for something I thought would change my world for the better. While I had a hard time paying that much for 9 little pills. I was told by other suffers it was well worth the cost. Well thruth be told. It might have been well worth it for them. But beside the first pill that was some what effective. I has done NOTHING for me. I don't know. I am not seeming to even react to it. So this week yet again I have missed work. I have gotten little sleep due to the pain. Today.. I made a call to my miracle worker.... aka my mother. It is a drive to my house for her..but I really needed her. So 7am I made the call to awake her. I felt bad, but a daughter needed her mothers magic fingers and healing words.

So night, after a hot bath, some advil, a massage from my mother I am feeling better. Not recovered but able to function. Which is a long way from what I was before.
Tonight I am going to hope and pray the rest of my headache goes away but life calls for a busy weekend for Jes and I. I will also be praying for another special little girl. Kaelin, whom broke her elbow in 2 spot. Our love and hugs and thoughts go out to her. We hope she will heal and in 8 weeks or so be back to her normal self. Santa will have to grant her this wish, this Christmas.
On a more positive note... we Celebrate my Grandmother's 80th Birthday this weekend. As well as a marriage. Fun things to look forward to. Hoping I feel well enough to attend.
Hope your week, is HUGLY better then mine. Wishing you all love and peace.

Hello !

Well Fall is here !

You can feel it in the air, can't you ? It is getting chilly this week.

Well my weekend started out pretty bad but ended up okay. I started out Friday night with yet another migraine, and this one was really bad. Not a MOMENTof sleep. In fact at 3am I was hurting so bad I was literally in tears. I just didn't know what to do with myself.

Sat, or most of the weekend Jes and I worked outside. There is sooo much to do when your a home owner. Fountains to take a part and store, flowers to trim, a few weeds to pull, patio stuff to put away.
ALOT of Halloween decor to put away and put out a few Fall items. A pond to take down and fish to carefully move into the house. The timing and temperature in a move is EVERYTHING. Just soo much.
But together my Hubby and I got it all done.
Sat night we took a trip to Plymouth to adore my Aunts new townhouse. This the first time she is a home owner and she is loving it. We are soo happy for her and so please. Her townhouse was in MOVE IN condition and VERY clean. So that was a total plus !
Sunday again was more outside things and then we ended the day at my parents house for a yummy Turkey Dinner. Can't turn down that! Yum YUM...! So this weekend we got alot done. It is a nice feeling to have the yard all done and ready for winter.

How did you spend your weekend ? What did you do ? Did you take some time and enjoy the nice weather and some time outside ?

Now this week we have another busy weekend coming...many things to celebrate ! This month is a busy one for us !

Hope you all are staying warm on this dark and glummy fall day.

Our Pumpkins !!

Well aren't pumpkins one of the BEST things about Halloween. I don't know about you. But I just LOVE them. They will however also be a part of my fall theme which will be next for a few weeks until Xmas.
Here is my pre-pumpkin.

Ahhh look at the insides. Love those seeds.
Below is the design of a witch. I wanted this on the pumkin and my husband cut it out like a quiz kid. Love it. Good job honey.
Then below is my pumpkin. The lame one. I was trying to make it scary, but it didnt work to well. Nevertheless it was sooo funny sharing the experience together.
Now I can't wait for the cute kidos to show up on our front door step. It is sooo fun to see them all dressed up.
Night night allll !!!!!!!!!!

Something to Ponder

The Dash
by Linda Ellis

I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the beginning to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth
and spoke of the following date with tears,
but he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time
that she spent alive on earth
and now only those who loved her
know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own,
the cars, the house, the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
and how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard;
are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
that can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
to consider what's true and real
and always try to understand
the way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger
and show appreciation more
and love the people in our lives
like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect
and more often wear a smile,
remembering that this special dash
might only last a little while.

So when your eulogy is being read
with your life's actions to rehash
would you be proud of the things they say
about how you spent your dash?

Sunday is Sister Time

Hi Everyone. Today my lil sis and I are going to be stamping. So she is coming out today and we are going to be putting our creative hats on and doing some stamping. When she is running low on cards. She likes to head out and make sure so she can get her supply fulfulled and already for the events and birthdays she has coming up !

The sun is out and I am loving it. I should be outside doing some fall clean up. But I am hoping for nice weather tomorrow so maybe after work I can do that !

Have a good Sunday ! Relax and enjoy your friends, family and loved ones.
