Eye Update

Eye Update .....

Hello everyone... this is going to be quick and fast....!

I am sorry I have a busy week and alot going on. Getting ready for the garage sale this weekend as well as several other things going on in my life right now.
Well yesterday I left work a bit early to get to my eye appointment.
It was good and bad news again. Good news.. my vision is fine ( which I knew ) I don't have problems seeing. Although I think secretly my hubby was wishing I needed glass's, like he did about this time last year. So that is excellent news.
The kinda bad or not soo good part of the news is that ..... just like they expected.. I do have the start of Diabetic Retinopathy. ( Which means the back blood vessels in your eyes get weak and you can get blood gathering and such and you will have to get laser surgery to correct. If you do not have the surgery then if the pocket leaks or blows up you could go blind ) So.. they are going to watch my eyes very closely and I need to go and see them every six months... for how long ??? I don't know... maybe forever....! But it is just in the start of things.
Also GOOD news, at least we know now and I am under the care of someone...rather then waiting and then all the sudden they tell me I need Laser surgery all at once.
I will need to try and pay close attention to my eyes. Because My Father had this as well..but much later in life. So I am about 20 earlier in life then he was with this same problem!
All will be fine... I just need to take care of my Blood sugars and my Blood pressure !
That's about it. I have to run...

Just a few days left...before the weekend is here....... YIPPY !!!
